Day 23: Happy Halloween

We arrived in Utah and have been having a good time playing with grandma & grandpa bob. Tristan got to play with cousin Gabby on Halloween - they were so cute together! We had a fun visit with them and ate yummy Halloween Chili that grandma made. After that I went to The Smith's new mansion!! Seriously I was getting lost in their house! The Smith boys still give me my hugs and kisses - even though Dallin & Bowen are taller than me now! Their cousins were over from Vegas - the only thing missing were the rest of the Crane kids for Halloween! So sad! But at least Tristy got to do her first Trick or Treating - she loved taking the candy out of the pumpkin more than in.

And of course I finally got to hold sweet little Grayson! Such a doll and he looks just like Dallin & Landon - it was a great First Halloween for Tristy-Lu!

Pictures: Break in Action

Arrived safely in Utah - it was a really long flight with just me & Tristy-Lu - she was a trooper though. So I have no pictures of our wild adventure but should be back up and running tomorrow! We flew through Chicago - it was a 9.5 hour flight there - was supposed to have a 2 hour lay-over turned into almost 5 - finally got underway again - for a 3.5 hour flight into SLC.

She only slept for about 45 mins twice on the long flight over the ocean - people were so nice and I never got "the evil eye" and the blessing was the flight was so not full so we had plenty of room - made me wish we had the car seat.

She was great in Chicago - but by then it was 1am London time so we were tired - but on the Skywest flight - she was so over tired that she screamed for about a half an hour before passing out. Again the flight was pretty empty so it all worked out well and people were sooooo understanding - such a relief!

But we are here and recovering - called Mike and he said he (after just the first day) couldn't move he was so exhausted as he's home alone with the other kiddies - MaryLou could hear Mike's comment and we both just laughed "Welcome to my World"!!!

Day 22: Power Ranger!

I'm getting the kids ready for Halloween - Tristan & I go to SLC tomorrow and Mike & the kids are on their own! Keep posted and think of me on the airplane - alone, with an 11 month old, that is congested!!!!!

Day 22: Pauline

Here is a picture of Tristan's Mary Poppins - she adores Pauline - she is amazing - takes Tristan out to a park and they play - she is a retired nurse and 'minds' children as her retirement! We love having Pauline over to play with Tristan!

Day 21: New Dress

This is a gorgeous dress my mom made for Tristan - we thought Pau Pau would like to see it on! Tristan looked like a little doll!

Day 20: Cinnamon Rolls

Sunday, October 25

Day 19: Saturdays

It was a nice day of catching up - Mike was in charge of an all day Single Adult Conference - they had an International Day and dinner, and dancing - it was cute because Mike was the High Council Rep "chaperone"!

The rest of us went to see Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs - and just did laundry - so I thought I'd share more pictures of our trip (we have a couple hundred) it was such a fun trip.

You can go up into Sleeping Beauty's castle here - it's so pretty inside and a wonderful view!

Day 18: Ian's Bday

Well the whole reason why we even went to EuroDisney was to celebrate Ian's 9th birthday. He is such a sweet boy and truly is very happy. Ian has been doing really well in school he has a teacher that is new to the school this year and she is a doll - she looks like Barbie.

Ian loves Football (Soccer) and he has become very good at it. Ian still loves to year - he is a voracious reader - I cannot get him to go to bed sometimes! He loves the color Orange - most of his clothes are either red or orange. We love having him in our family. We came home from Eurodisney late Thursday night so we were all exhausted Friday but he was a good sport and w just hung out and watched The Wizards of Waverly Place Movie for his bday!!

Day 16: Disney Studios

They have their own Disney Studios (like California Adventure or Universal) - similar to CA Adventure the lines can be long, no Fast Track and a little crazy.

We tried to get on Crush's Coaster twice - after waiting for over an hour and having it break down before we even got close, then again the boys waited 20 mins before it broke again we decided it wasn't meant to be.

But Mike & I found a fantastic new rollercoaster (all the big kids like it too) Rockin' Roller Coaster - by Aerosmith - it's interesting to have Steven Tyler screaming in your ear while you're turning upside down!

They have a bunch of pixar rides which was so fun - but one thing about Eurodisney in general - you get to see all kinds of characters everywhere and get lots of autographs (too bad we didn't bring our books!)

We watched a parade and all the characters came up to see Tristy-Lu!

Day 15: New Family Ride

Officially our new family ride is the Buzz Lightyear Laser ride! It was so fun going through the ride and listening to Buzz speak in French! I think we rode it about 10 times - and the biggest winner..... Mom with 190,200 points!!!

DAY 14: 2nd Happiest Place on Earth

I absolutely loved EuroDisney. It truly is smaller than CA - but it has all the same lands basically - it is designed the same way sans the congestion points (you know what I mean if you've ever tried to go through New Orleans around Pirates) The fun thing is that they basically just picked most of the best rides and put them here. But the rides are the same - Peter Pan, Snow White, Dumbo, Tea Cups, Space Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear....

Our vacation is generally a week off from the rest of Europe - so it isn't as crowded as it could be when we go on vacation. It was just great....

Monday, October 19

Day 13: EuroDisney!

Upon arrival you see The Disneyland Hotel - so pretty

After entering the park you see the railway station and all the great Halloween decorations...

You walk in and you see Disney Main Street just like in CA - but by now the kids are tired of mom making them turn around every 5 seconds for a photo-op!

Sunday, October 18

Day 12: Freakshow

Yes we are "the sight" to see when we go on the trains here.... To get to EuroDisney in Paris we have to drive to the local train station, take it into Central London for about 40 mins, then get on the Tube to get to the St. Pancras Station to take the Eurostar to Paris (about 2.5 hours)

We are a spectacle - we have the 5 kids, plus a stroller - but the good thing is we've become quite good packers and we only need 5 suitcases for the 7 of us!

We arrived and it was beautiful!!

Day 11: Packing Day

I was a little MIA because we were packing up to go to EuroDisney in Paris! I don't necessarily like to post before we go for a long trip so here is my catch up! The kids have mid-term break for a week - which is so nice - practically the rest of Europe has it this coming week so it wasn't as crowded as it could be. We planned to go on this trip also because we're celebrating Ian's birthday which is on the 23rd....

We had Roadshow Saturday night but the rest of the day was dedicated to packing and getting my hair cut!
